Frequently Asked Questions

  • Risks are minimal with MRIs, and there is no contrast with the CT scan. See our risks and limitations page.

  • Yes. Options include Brain MRI, CT chest, or Abdomen, Pelvis MRI. You can pair these up in different combinations as you prefer. Please visit our services tab for more details.

  • You will need to get a prescription from your doctor prior to getting the scan done. Many people who are claustrophic will still be able to undergo the scan with gentle reassurance without medications.

  • It is recommended to have health insurance prior to obtaining a scan, although it is not required since we will NOT be billing your insurance company. It is also recommended to have life insurance prior to getting a scan. See the bottom of our risks and limitation page for more information.

  • Performing the full CT and MRI scans take approximately an hour. A CT chest scan takes approximately 15 minutes. A single MRI takes approximately 30 minutes. Total time at the facility is approximately 2-3 hours.
