You will need to get a prescription from your doctor prior to getting the scan done. Many people who are claustrophic will still be able to undergo the scan with gentle reassurance without medications.

It is recommended to have health insurance prior to obtaining a scan, although it is not required since we will NOT be billing your insurance company. It is also recommended to have life insurance prior to getting a scan. See the bottom of our risks and limitation page for more information.

Performing the full CT and MRI scans take approximately an hour. A CT chest scan takes approximately 15 minutes. A single MRI takes approximately 30 minutes. Total time at the facility is approximately 2-3 hours.
